"If He's [Christ] truly raised to life, then this news should change your life."Those lyrics have stuck in my head the moment I heard them [song here]. The lyrics are referring to the book in the Bible, 1 Corinthians, where the author Paul talks about the resurrection of Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:13-14 says, "If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith." Jesus made many claims and if His resurrection never occurred, all of Christianity may as well be deemed useless... What a bold statement Paul made. The fact is, Christ's resurrection is what sets apart every other religion in the world. All other religions have "prophets" or major characters that died...but not one of them ever claimed to be God in the form of man and not one of those men ever rose again. So how do we respond to this? Why is Easter (or the celebration of Christ's resurrection) so important to Christianity?
