My Little Boy.
Kaiden, my sweet Kaiden...he is growing into such a big person. His personality has developed so much and beneath the rough and tough layers that make up a boy, there is thoughtfulness, compassion, and a tender heart. He is also so very silly and he definitely thinks outside of the box.We can actually hold conversations together now. On most days, it's discussing favorite dinosaurs, asking for help with something or making compelling negotiations for ice cream. When Skye is napping, he always asks, "Where's baby?" and then when he sees her wake up from a nap, he exclaims, "Aww! Hi, sweeties!"He understands the concept of right and wrong and whenever he does something bad he usually says, "Sorry, mommy." If I do something that he likes he is very polite and always says, "Thanks, mommy." I still have to keep my eye on him, however. Just today, he found our dog nail clippers and cut our record player cord. Of course, after I told him what he did was bad, he replied with, "My bad."He is still so affectionate and cuddly. He loves to put his arm around me during a movie or hold my hand. He'll even brush my back or shoulder with his hand. What three year old thinks to do that other than one that naturally exudes love? All in all, I'm just amazed at the little being he is. I was just looking through some old pictures and can hardly remember what he was like when he was little. It really wasn't that long ago but watching Skye hit all these milestones is making me forget his. I love the stage he is in now and I'm trying to soak up every moment because I know that he will soon grow out of this.I love you, little buddy.
