A weekend or two ago, we visited San Francisco one last time. It was a sad moment for me knowing that our feet will probably never touch that portion of the country again. It's such a beautiful city with all of it's diversity, both in population and terrain. One of our stops was at Chrissy Field. Kaiden got to play in the sand while I photographed some of my brother's engagement pictures there. Kaiden is just like his dad -- a water rat. Even though, the water was incredibly cold he immediately wanted to strip down and jump in. Ethan wouldn't let him (for obvious reasons) but of course, mommy had the brilliant idea of just letting his toes touch the water. That turned into big leaps into the water and before I knew it, his pants were soaked and we found ourselves navigating through cheesy tourist shops for the most inexpensive pair of sweatpants we could find. (It was much more difficult than I imagined it would be.) It was a fun day and a great way to wrap our time here in California. I will miss you SanFrancisco with your Golden Gate Bridge, steep, curvy roads and crazy million dollar townhomes. Hopefully one day, I find an excuse to come back!
