A Friday Morning in Florida

It's been two months since we moved to Florida. The decision was sudden but we prayed very specific prayers and God has made it extremely clear to us that this is where we are supposed to be right now. We have always been warm weather people but there are so many other reasons why we are overjoyed to be here. God led us to an amazing local church that has made this place feel like home. We are already plugged in and serving our community with a passionate, Jesus-loving group of believers. God has opened several doors for us to serve in the areas we are both extremely passionate about. The kids are thriving at their school. They've made friends and all have great grades. We are super impressed with their schools and love watching them grow. And explorations of all the nearby beaches, islands, and state parks are the new norm for us. We've spent a lot of time either as a couple or family doing things that bond us all together and get us exercising while enjoying God's creation. Also, Ethan is teaching us all to surf. I have never been so out of my comfort zone but I've also never had so much fun. Needless to say, we are thrilled to be here. These are just a few shots I took from a Friday morning boat trip Ethan I took while the kids were in school.
