We met Ann and Jason in birthing class. Ann and I were both around 36 weeks pregnant and both ready to have our babies. For four weeks, we and several other couples, learned along side of each other what was to be expected when it was time to deliver. The last day of class was a pizza party, and Ethan and I spotted Ann and Jason praying before eating their food. We were pumped! They saw us praying before we ate too, and as nerdy as it sounds, that's what made us all hit it off. We started hanging out and had the opportunity to see each other right after giving birth. There was an instant bond knowing that we would all endeavor parenthood together. Our kids have grown up together  and will both be two in November. (They pretty much have an arranged marriage haha.) It's been such a journey and it's been so nice to share it with good friends. I remember us all sitting at the dinner table one night, just hanging out when Ann told us that she wanted another baby. She was just told by the doctor's that it was pretty much impossible for them to get pregnant again. You see, when Ann had Evelyn, there were some extreme complications...complications so bad that she almost lost her life. The doctor's told her it was a miracle she lived and because of all the built up scar tissue, she couldn't conceive again. Even if she miraculously conceived, they told her she would have to get in the best shape of her life if she wanted to survive another pregnancy. It was that night at the dinner table, that Ann committed to getting back in shape and we all started praying that if it was God's will, they would have another. In these pictures, you will see Ann at 34 weeks pregnant! God surely answered their prayers and in a few weeks they will be meeting their little boy. I'm so blessed to be a part of their lives and am in awe of the many miracles I've seen God work in within their family over these past few years. If you guys happen to think of it, be sure to keep Ann in prayer when she has her scheduled c-section in a few weeks. We are praying that there wouldn't be any complications like the last time and that they would both come out of the delivery room healthy. I cannot wait to meet that sweet little boy of theirs and you can count on me taking some in hospital pictures! We ended up just doing a mini-session since my good camera broke (that's another story.) I'm using my older camera here and we were limited on time because the sun went down faster than I anticipated, but we still got some great shots none the less.
