I feel that personal projects are necessary for artists. It's good to just get out and shoot around just for fun...I mean, that's how I realized I was in love with this job in the first place, so what would ever give me reason to stop? I definitely don't photograph a lot of guys by themselves and so that was my challenge for this shoot -- to learn how to work with a solo guy. I immediately thought of Chris. He is the media guy at our church and has the exact style I was looking for. Come to find out, he does not like getting his picture taken at all. But, he said yes to doing it because he figured he should lose his camera phobia at some point...and I'm so glad he did! He brought along some awesome props and we stumbled upon some amazing locations. If you get a chance, check out his website, Once More Productions.
