Kaiden and I spent our Saturday walking around our base air museum so he could see all the planes (I can't even tell you how many times I heard the words, "Plane, plane!") I knew that my pot roast still had another hour to cook and it was hot out so I figured, why not do ice cream? There is a Baskin Robbins on base and so I decided to get us a scoop of Oreo ice cream. It was more for me than it was him...but it turned into it being more for him than me by the end lol. Keep in mind that Kaiden normally has frozen yogurt, sherbet, or actual yogurt and calls it ice cream. He is not used to this sugary goodness. The pictures are evidence that he absolutely loved it and the 2.5 hours it took me to get him to bed was evidence that I broke one of the golden parenting rules: never, ever give your child sugar before bedtime...
